Individual Counselling
I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship is the foundation for meaningful change, and so before beginning regular therapy sessions I offer an initial 15 minute Zoom call for us to connect.
During this call we will chat about what has brought you to therapy & how our sessions will work. It is also an opportunity for you to ask me any questions you may have, to make sure that we are the right therapeutic fit for each other. There is no pressure to book an appointment at the end of this call & you are welcome to take some time to think about it.
Should you chose to go ahead with booking therapy sessions, we will work together to create a trusting, open space where you can explore any issues you are experiencing, at a pace that suits you.
I tailor counselling techniques to meet your individual needs so that you are able to gain insight and understanding into your patterns of thinking, feeling & behaviour.
Whilst increasing your awareness, I will support you to make any changes you feel will benefit you, as well as come to terms with anything that cannot be changed, and support you to move forward.
